Master Jeff Lindsay
Master Jeff Lindsay began his martial arts training in 1977 at the age of 10 at McNiel’s U.S. Open Karate School in Kannapolis, North Carolina, which later became Iron Dragon Karate. His first discipline, U.S. Open Style Karate, blended several martial arts, including Okinawan and Japanese Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Kickboxing, Japanese Jujitsu, and Judo.
Throughout his martial arts journey, Master Lindsay continued to train with a variety of schools, instructors, and styles, including Tae Kwon Do schools in Northern Virginia and Tang Soo Do in Hickory, North Carolina.
In 2014, he became the headmaster of Iron Spirit Martial Arts in Hickory, a position he held until the school merged with Saeng Jeon Do in 2018. Master Lindsay brings decades of martial arts experience and a broad background in multiple disciplines to his teaching.
